Formerly Big Brothers Big Sisters of Livingston CountyCommitted to Local Youth Mentoring
June Update - As we continue through this health crisis in our nation, Mentor Livingston would like to update everyone on the new protocols that we have implemented to protect the children we serve, our staff, the volunteers, and families we work with. We are depending on the guidance and knowledge provided by our government, local health departments, and the center for disease control and prevention for our information. Currently, the staff are all working remotely and continuing to implement and create various ways to support our matches.Further Details
The Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club recently held their fabulous annual Midnight in the Tropics (MITT) event supporting youth in our community. Mentor Livingston was fortunate to be one of the recipients of the proceeds from their efforts. We are extremely grateful of all they have done for youth in our community!Thank You!
Mentor Livingston Inc (formerly Big Brothers Big Sisters of Livingston County) has been providing children with mentors since 1980. Our service is based on a One-to-One friendship between a volunteer and a child. Volunteers serve as friends, mentors, and role models, helping children (who are primarily from single-parent homes) gain greater self-confidence. “Mentors” encourage “Mentees” to realize their potential and see themselves as having happy and successful futures.
